IT Services provisions file storage space for large amounts of data on EduCloud upon request.
EduCloud is a community cloud service offered to higher education in BC in cooperation with BCNet and UBC. This service allows TRU to deploy and manage virtual servers at UBC that appear and function as if they are local servers.
To request file storage, contact the IT Service Desk with the following information:
- Who will be accessing the data?
- How much space is needed?
- A folder name for the shared data.
- Specify if this is for research purposes.
A Network and Technical Services technician will contact you within one week to discuss your request in more detail.
