Install Procedure
For most users Populus 6.0 install maybe as simple as downloading & installing Java Runtime Environment (JRE) from Oracle and be able to run the .jar container.
Workaround
If running the .jar directly does not work directly then you can try the procedure below:
1. create an empty notepad file on your desktop -> Save As the file as Populus6.bat
2. copy this command line into the Populus6.bat file
cd "replace with Populus6.0.jar file path"
java -jar Populus6.0.jar
3. Make sure to change the file path in the command line above to the Populus6.0.jar file saved onto your device. To find the file path of the Populus6.0.jar file, find it in your file explorer, right click it, and select "copy as path". You can then paste it into the Populus6.bat file (be sure that the file path is only surrounded by one set of quotation marks).
4. You should be able to now just double click on the Populus6.bat file on your desktop & run it through command prompt.
