Merge PDFs and Other Files with Adobe Acrobat Pro

Combining Files into One PDF with Acrobat DC Pro

Here’s how you can put multiple files into one PDF using Adobe Acrobat DC Pro:

  1. Open Adobe Acrobat DC Pro.
  2. Click on the "Tools" menu at the top.
  3. Find and click on "Combine Files."
  4. Add the files you want to put together. You can change the order of the pages or remove some if you need to.
  5. Click "Combine" to merge the files into one PDF.
  6. Save your new PDF.

You can add different types of files, not just PDFs, and turn them all into one PDF using this tool.

If you’ve made a PDF and others can’t open it, make sure you didn't choose "Save as PDF Portfolio" when you were saving. This option is in the "Options" menu of the Combine Files tool and it makes a different kind of file that might not work for everyone. Just uncheck this option and save again.
