Minitab Cloud
Minitab is now available to be used via a web browser (Chrome, Edge, and Safari supported). Go to https://app.minitab.com and follow the sign-in instructions below.
Minitab Desktop App

Available for Microsoft Windows. MacOS is no longer supported.
To download the installer for Minitab, Log into https://licensing.minitab.com/account using the sign in instructions below. After you have logged click "Minitab Solution Center" under "My Products", and the "Download Desktop App".
Run the downloaded installer to install Minitab to your computer.
Sign-in:
For the desktop app you will see this upon opening Minitab:
Click on 'Sign In...' which will open a web browser like this (web app users will start here):
- Initial login prompt: Enter your @tru.ca or @mytru.ca email address (EX: doej21@mytru.ca) and click next. You will be redirected to a Microsoft sign-in page:
Microsoft sign-in prompt: Enter your TRU student credentials. Type your ID@mytru.ca in the username field (EX: T00999999@mytru.ca)
Click Next
- Type your network password - This is the same password you use for accessing myTRU, Moodle, Student Email, and campus computers.
You should get a screen saying that you have successfully logged in and you can close the browser. Return to Minitab and you are good to go.
