CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) is a security measure designed to verify that a user is human rather than a bot. In some instances, a CAPTCHA error may occur due to validation on a phone number field. This article will guide you through troubleshooting steps to resolve the CAPTCHA error and successfully complete your registration.
Troubleshooting Steps for CAPTCHA Errors:
- Double-check the entered phone number:
- Ensure that you have entered the correct phone number in the designated field
- Verify that you haven't accidentally included any spaces, dashes, or parentheses in the phone number
- Make sure the number is entered in the correct format, removing the country code if required
For example, if your phone number is 1-250-852-6800, then you would complete the field with:
In the “area code” box, enter 250. Do not include your country code (+1)
In the “phone number” box, enter 8526800

- Refresh the CAPTCHA:
- Look for a refresh or reload button near the CAPTCHA image and click on it
- If there is no visible refresh option, you can try refreshing the entire page by pressing the F5 key or using the refresh button on your browser's toolbar
- Clear browser cache and cookies:
- Instructions to clear your browser cache can be found at the following link: Clearing Your Browser Cache
- Restart the browser and attempt the registration process again
- Try using a different browser or device:
- If you encounter an error on one browser, try using a different browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari) to complete the registration process
