If you are encountering issues with a shared 'generic' account appearing when accessing Microsoft services such as SharePoint or Teams, the following steps will help you prevent this from recurring.

Go to Your Account Settings:
- Click on the Start Menu
- Search Settings,
- Click on Accounts

Find the Shared Account:
- Select Accounts
- Click on Access work or school.

Remove the Account:
- Click on the shared account in the list.
- Click Disconnect.
