If Microsoft Teams won’t show images, log out from your account, and close the app. Then re-launch Teams, and log back in. This quick work around will flush the client cache
If the image problem also affects Teams Web Version, you need to clear your browser's cache & cookies to give it a clean state when attempting to connect. In most cases, select options for clearing the Cache and Cookies for "All Time" if available. Instructions to clear your browser cache can be found at the following link: Clearing Your Browser Cache
If the issue persists, perform an in-depth cache cleanup. Follow the steps below to clean your desktop app cache
Clear the Teams Application Cache
- Sign Out of your Teams Account by Clicking on your profile icon in the upper right hand corner and Clicking "Sign Out"
- In the Windows Search Bar, Search for Add or remove programs and open it.
- Search for Microsoft Teams and click on the 3 dots and select Advanced options
- Terminate the app and click Repair and then Reset
- Launch Teams and Sign In when prompted. Check if the images are loading properly now
