Keyman keyboard software, along with the Secwépemctsín keyboard layout, is deployed to all TRU computers and can be selected when needed.. This allows users to accurately type Secwépemctsín characters in Windows applications, including documents, emails, and other programs.
For the keyboard to work, Keyman must be running in the system tray.
To confirm Keyman is running:
- Open the system tray in the bottom-right corner of the taskbar.
- Look for the Keyman icon shown below.
- If the icon is visible, Keyman is running and the Secwépemctsín keyboard is available to use.
To switch keyboard language, look for the following in the bottom-right of the taskbar:
