This article explains how technicians should set up their TeamDynamix dashboards and identify key reports to pin or bookmark for daily work.
Dashboards in TeamDynamix are personal and configurable. There is a baseline setup that all technicians are expected to have in place. The dashboards and reports outlined here represent the minimum configuration needed for consistent visibility into assigned work, unassigned tickets, client responses, and workflow activity.
This article covers the main TeamDynamix dashboard, dashboards within apps such as Tickets and ASAR, and reports that should be kept easily accessible. Technicians may add additional widgets or dashboards as needed.
Dashboard Types in TeamDynamix
Main TeamDynamix Dashboard
The main dashboard appears when you first open TeamDynamix, before entering a specific application. It is intended for high-level awareness and cross-app visibility. Changes made to the main dashboard do not affect dashboards inside individual apps.
App-Level Dashboards
Each application in TeamDynamix has its own dashboard, such as Tickets or ASAR. These dashboards are only visible within their respective apps and support focused, task-specific work. Changes made to an app dashboard only apply to that app.
Before You Start
Required Access
You must have access to TeamDynamix, the Tickets application, and any additional apps you support, such as ASAR. If you do not see an application listed in the View Applications Menu, you cannot create or edit dashboards for it.
Editing Dashboards
- Open TeamDynamix.
- Navigate to the dashboard you want to change.
- Select Edit Dashboard.

Widget Visibility
Widget visibility is based on the underlying report or search. Widgets may be personal, visible to everyone with the application, or visible to a specific group or team.
Public Dashboards
Public dashboards are maintained by the technician who creates them. Other users cannot edit these dashboards.
Auto Refresh
Enable Auto Refresh on dashboards to keep ticket counts and statuses current without manual refresh.
Adding Widgets
Widgets are added by selecting a category such as Tickets or ASAR, then choosing from available reports or saved searches. The list of options is large and will vary by access.
Report Widgets
Report widgets are based on saved reports and respect report visibility settings.

Saved Search Widgets
Saved search widgets display live ticket lists and are commonly used for active workload views.

ASAR
ASAR does not need to stay open. Monitor ASAR work from the main dashboard and open the ASAR app when needed.

Updating or Rebuilding Dashboards
Dashboards can be rebuilt or adjusted at any time.
- Remove widgets you no longer use
- Rearrange rows and columns
- Add new widgets based on your role or workload
