Android Studio Narwhal (2025.1.3) is the latest stable release of Google’s official IDE for Android development, packed with AI-powered enhancements, performance upgrades, and developer productivity tools.
This will be the version to be utilized in the labs for 2025-2026. It is recommended for compatibility purposes that you do not upgrade your Android Studio IDE on you personal devices beyond this version.
Current version used in labs: Android Studio 2025 Narwhal 3 (v.2025.1.3 for Windows)
